At one wellness seminar the heart was compared to the queen bee.  All the other organs, structures, and systems are the worker bees, drones, etc.  Each has its own job, but the goal is to keep the queen happy.  In reality if all systems are working optimally, the heart (the queen) should never have to labor or wear itself out.  With today's lifestyle, it takes a lot to keep the "queen" happy.  For example, there is a close heart/brain connection.  Studies have shown that the heart "speaks" to the brain more often than the brain sends messages to the heart.  The good and bad experiences in life are recorded in both the heart and brain.  A healthy heart will not hold the pain of a bad experience and will send a life-giving message to the brain so the brain can "let go".  If the heart, however, becomes overwhelmed with emotion and pain, it holds on and is unable to release it.  The brain then, has to take over and becomes "warden-like," trying to control life as it comes.  Depression can occur because the heart can no longer give the life-giving message to the brain.

Other supporting players to the heart are the thyroid, adrenals, and pituitary.  To function, each needs a well balanced regimen consisting of appropriate exersise, nutition through healthy food and supplementation.  If the heart becomes "tired" and imbalanced energetically, these backup organs have to take over and work harder.  If one organ is underactive, another organ may be overactive as a means of compensation.  Over time overactivity can cause "burnout" and another organ will have to take over.  In this manner one organ after another wears out.  The question is, what is the primary cause?  What started the domino effect?  Many times incidences can be traced back to the heart.  What physical injury did the body take that made the heart "gasp in shock"?  What emotional trauma occurred that made the heart "gasp" and become imbalanced at the subtle energy level.

One way to support the circulatory system with a focus on the heart and its backup systems nutritionally is through ReGenerZyme Heart.
